The Courtyard Series gives performers an opportunity to safely show off their talents in Colvin House's stunning courtyard Sophia de Leon Sanchez - Dance, Vocals Based in Chicago, Sophia has been studying and dancing Flamenco since 2012. She is also an interdisciplinary performance artist, multi-genre singer, and musician. Check out Sophia on Facebook and YouTube. Thomas Kimball - Guitar, Vocals Based in Chicago, Thomas began playing Spanish guitar in 1992, following an inspiring trip to Mexico. In addition to taking classes with local and visiting artists, he has studied in New Mexico, California, Cuba and Spain. His repertoire consists of flamenco, gypsy rumba and bossa nova. He performs solo as well as with other musicians, singers and dancers. Helpful Info: Colvin House cannot provide parking onsite for this event. The first 20 cars can park free at George B. Swift Elementary school, just a block west of Colvin House. Please pull up to Colvin House's driveway gate (Thorndale Ave) first to receive a parking permit which will provide further instruction. For $12-$14, valet parking is also available at the Malibu Condominiums (6007 N Sheridan) public garage, just across the street, north of Colvin House. This parking can be validated by Colvin House for $2.00 off.
