Each Saturday we will hand out nearly 1100 boxes of food weighing 30 lbs. each. Bring your family and help us serve our city! The boxes of food are provided by the USDA and are free to anyone, regardless of need. We primarily need help loading boxes into cars as people drive through the parking lot of the old Riverbend Billiards and Grill, however if you have experience directing traffic or driving a forklift truck, those are additional needs we have. The faster we load, the more quickly we are finished. Volunteers are welcome to take a box for their own family. When you arrive, please do not park in the Riverbend Billiards parking lot, but somewhere across the street. If you have additional questions, please contact Natalie at [email protected]
