Looking for drummers that want to jam. Especially looking for drummers that can improvise and roll with a guitarist that explores different avenues. Jazz, punk, metal, rock, jam band stuff. Free jazz. World music. Zach Hill type stuff. If you can play, lets play. I can sing a little but its about the improv. Down to find bass, keys, horns, etc and put something together. But I’m a drummer as well and gotta find a drummer first. I know bass, keys, singers, and other players. Down for covers and what not to keep people interested. I can sing like talking heads songs and write lyrics. Looking to put a legit band together. If you are into the blues and classic rock scene, but willing to try something different, this would be cool too. I don’t mimic often but love the jimi hendrix band of gypsys thing mixed with sort of a later john coltrane type of thing. Would love a rock/jazz trio of the sorts. Something with some melodies and memes mixed in with our own improvs. And some dancy sections too. I’m talking funky ish. Able to bring in guest artists and play specialty gigs with certain singers. When possible, would love to open things up to guest artists, pros looking to get out there and throw down, to the up and comers looking to cut their teeth improving and singing their songs. Can’t stress enough how much a jazz drummer would be great. But don’t let that hold you from messaging if you’re not. If you can just play and play and play, that’s awesome. Let me know.
