Press release from Cambridge Public Schools: May 6, 2021 Dear CPS Community - "Tonight, the Cambridge School Committee voted to select Dr. Victoria Greer as the Interim Superintendent for Cambridge Public Schools. This appointment is conditioned on the ability of the School Committee and Dr. Victoria Greer to reach a negotiated contract. On behalf of the School Committee, thank you to all of our candidates and the many Cambridge Public School community members who participated in the process. I will call an executive session in the next 10 days to discuss strategy for contract negotiations with the Interim Superintendent and to vote on the retention of an attorney to begin contract negotiations.
