A safe space to connect to your Fifth Energy center in order to Identify and let go of anything that keeps you from expressing yourself. Chakras are the main life force – Prana –channels in the body. If a chakra is out of alignment it means that it does not let the life force energy flow freely through it. The center of a Throat Chakra is located at the base of the neck in the front of the body and at the place where you can bend your neck backward in the back of the body. A Sanskrit name for the Throat Chakra is Vishuddha (Sanskrit “purity”). It means that this energy center is a center of purification. It is a center of purity. That is the reason why this energy wheel mostly deals with organs in the physical body that are responsible for purification, such as the lymph system, throat, pituitary gland, thyroid, ears, jaw, neck, mouth, tongue, and shoulders. If your Throat Chakra is blocked, on an emotional level you might feel social anxiety, loss of faith, shyness, shame, you may feel inhibited, like you can’t express yourself, you don’t feel inspired to create, fear to speak. The Throat Chakra is associated with the color blue and with the element ether. Vishudha is all about discovering your own purity and your own unique truth, and it is about the expression of it. To have your Throat Chakra in alignment you have got to own your personal truth, it is about expression, personal integrity, personal honor. What causes the Throat Chakra to go out of alignment? First of all, it is not speaking, thinking, and living in alignment with your personal inner truth. Second, other people who not seeing, acknowledging your truth, and seeing it as valid – not being listened to and not being heard. The other thing that can cause your Throat Chakra to go out of alignment is complaining and gossiping. Why? Because complaining and talking about others behind their back means that you are internally not happy about something, and at the same time you are not doing anything about it besides processing it over and over again through your fifth energy center. Negativity, doubt, contradicting your inner desires … all of these causes Throat Chakra to close. Chronic negativity, especially negative thinking pulls your Throat Chakra out of alignment like nothing else. If you think about your Throat Chakra as a center of purity then your negative thinking is not something that represents purging from negative content, on the contrary, it is almost like you keep drinking poison over and over again. Your body loses the capacity to cleanse itself. Why are you reading this? Because you are a vibrational match to this event, meaning you are aware of things that might be on the way of your full and authentic expression, you have been not heard, or can't seem to learn how to listen.
