Description

The minutes from the last board meeting listed obsolete HP chromebooks 11 G3, that are being removed from active inventory.There are 184 units listed as unrepairable. Also being removed are HP 3125 Notebooks, HP Compaq 8200 notebooks, HP Compaq 4000, 5 Apple TV units. HP Compaq Desktops from Sawmill, Burr and Northridge are being eliminated . Not included in the minutes is an explanation to the taxpayers of how disposal or recycling will be managed. The Board of Ed accepted a $25,000.00 grant from Epic Games to add more gaming design lessons for our Commack high school students. Plans are being finalized for HVAC, lighting and roof upgrades to the schools in the district with the funds coming form the 2019 bond issues.
