Small tree service looking for ground crew foreman. Duties include driving trucks, chippers, trailers, skid loaders, tractors, stump grinders. Proficient in backing up trucks with trailers into tight areas. Dragging, chipping brush, loading wood by hand and with a tractor and or skid loader. Grinding stumps, roping limbs off structures as a team with the aerial worker. Raking yards, doing light trimming from the ground with power and manual pole saws. Cutting up logs, safe and efficent with cutting over trees or standing logs using a rope and sledge n wedge. Must know how to use varying size saws from top handle 14in to stihl 661 with a 36in bar. Gotta be self motivated and able to direct the other ground people into the best most efficent positions to get the work done. Min requirements 1yr experience as a ground person, valid driver's license with good driving record. We work 4-6 days per wk 6-12hr days. If the job orders says 10hrs for the day and we get done in 6hrs you still get your 10. Pay is $23 per hour for someone who can check all these boxes, that's almost the rate other companies pay their aerial workers. This position is open immediately. Im also looking for 2 more ground guys with some experience and or hard workers $17-20 per hour. If you have no experience but learn quick and have a valid driver's license $15hr to start. All positions are open immediately for work Monday. Im looking to run a 5-6 man crew. Safe and efficent is the name of the game. Show up is currently in menomonee falls anywhere from 6.30-7.15am work until the days orders are completed.
