A long time ago in a different state. The time we spent together grew into something much more than either of us were ready or equipped to handle and after years invested, we found ourselves right back to where we started and have become just strangers. I never saw any of this coming I wish I wasn't so quick to trust a broken man with pieces of myself I'll never get back. I wish I could return the pieces you gave me so you can take them and the tools you've learned to be the man you're capable of being to the right women. I wish it could have been me more than anything, it just wasn't. You're amazing and when at your best you are admirable. Of course I would have wanted you for myself. I hope you don't forget about me.
