We are seeking a detail oriented team leader to oversee our newsstand delivery for our local newspaper group. Our market area includes Carmichael, Citrus Heights, Rancho Cordova, Fair Oaks, Orangevale, Gold River, Rio Linda, Arden Arcade and Sacramento County. This position includes overseeing the delivery of other drivers. It includes delivery to some areas of our distribution zone. It includes completing weekly reports for our audit records, setting up new delivery location accounts, keeping delivery units clean and in good repair, distributing promotional materials to locations, verifying delivery of drivers, replacing newsstands on location, and overall maintenance of our newsstands. Delivery days are Thursday and Friday. Other work days are flexible due to workloads. You must be able to perform the physical requirements of this position without assistance. You must also own a vehicle that can be useful to carrying out the duties of the position (light truck or van). You must be mechanically inclined and able to repair and replace parts on the newsstand units without assistance. All tools, parts and training provided. This is considered an entry level position.
