Description
We’re a band based in Monument, currently playing mostly covers and a few originals. We play a mix of traditional, modern and red dirt country with some Southern rock and classic rock tossed in. Some ballads but mostly rockers (that’s what works in bars).
Our singer (and chief songwriter) is planning to retire and move away in a few months, and we’re looking to fill his considerable shoes. Songwriting ability isn’t required (there are two other songwriters in the band), but would be welcomed, appreciated and discussed.
We’re open to male or female. Age isn’t a major issue, though we’d prefer someone with significant life and professional experience. Some instrumental ability is a plus—for occasionally playing (or holding) an acoustic guitar, for instance, but this is not your primary role.
BEFORE YOU EVEN REPLY! Please understand that we’re looking for a LEAD SINGER-FRONT PERSON. Someone with great stage presence and experience working a crowd. At this time we’re covering all the instrumentation we need, and we’re NOT looking for another player.
Please contact me if you’re interested and we can get into more detail. Time and circumstances will not allow us to audition anyone without first hearing recorded samples of your work. Thanks!
