United Moving Solutions is a Local and Long Distance Moving company, based in Las Vegas, NV. We are looking to hire Dispatch / Operations and Logistic Manager ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following ( other duties may be assigned) : Determines the number of vehicles and crew based on information from sales associates and orders. Assigns vehicle operations. Prepares schedules indicating times of arrival and departure of vehicles. Participates in planning local crew and safety meetings and activities. Participates in inventory control of company equipment. Qualified Applicants will have the following skills and experience: Manage multiple trucks in route. Provide drivers necessary guidance • Minimum 2 years experience in the moving & storage or logistics industry • Must be able to work successfully with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbal and written Must be able to effectively read maps and use logic to determine best routes Knowledge of trucks is helpful SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises 10-50 employees. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
