Description
I am not looking to make it look like "factory original", just as long as the car is drivable. The car was still running after the accident. I was thinking just to pull the metal straight, or hammer, or cut away the bent metal, check for steering linkage and critical components, then replace the nearby engine components (it was pretty empty in that region, airbox etc).
. The car have been sitting in my garage, I only wanted to run mostly so I can move it on the street and work in my garage. I will even sign a paper to say I understand the safety risk, and I will take all the liability myself. It is a 1991 Volvo 740 wagon turbo with manual transmission.
Here are the options from best to least.
1. use parts from a donor car year 91~ 94 color red. (if it has turbo engine, it will have parts ready to be used)
2. use parts from a donor car year 91~ 94 any color (if it has turbo engine, it will have parts ready to be used)
3. no donor car, but custom fabricate: weld sheet metal or tubing for support.
Pictures of the red car needs to be repaired.
Pictures of the white car and the silver car is my expectation. So you do not need to worry that "it's too much work to be perfect"
