I was changing out a fluorescent fixture. That part is done. When I switched it on, it was intermittent. I opened up the room light switch box and started to change the switch. It was then that I discovered that there was no power to the box. The problem is not the switch, it is in the wiring. It appears something became intermittent and now open, so no power is on any wires in the box. I need an electrician to figure out where this loss of power is coming from, and eliminate the problem. I have other electrical tasks to be done, so this small job will be the beginning of multiple jobs.
