My name is Andreas Amnell. I'm a widely knowledgeable guitarist, arranger, producer, songwriter etc. If you're looking for a guitarist to add some life and spice to your song or performance, I'd like to offer up my services! I can play a wide array of genres such as pop, rock, blues, country, funk, disco, rnb (old and new), hiphop, and more. As I was fortunate to attend GIT, I learned how to quickly adapt to any situation. I also know plenty of music theory but typically like to play based on what the song needs and not for my own ego. Unfortunately I am not a good sheet music reader (you'd be surprised to learn that some of the most hired session guitarists in Nashville and LA don't do well with sheet music. Tom Bukovac is a great example as he's played on over 500 records for world-class artists but isn't a skilled reader). I am however able to read chord charts (or tablature). I also have a great ear and can learn music pretty fast that way as well! I own a wider arrange of gear, and am able to achieve a lot of different sounds. If there's a piece of gear I need too achieve a certain sound, I either have it or am most willing to get it to get your song or performance where it needs to be! I am able to either record from home if you want me too, as I have a home studio. Or I have my own reliable transportation to get anywhere you need me to be all over the greater Los Angeles area.
