Retreat Healthcare is an award winning campus of senior health care facilities and we are creating a NEW POSITION. The Director of Housekeeping/Laundry Services will report to the Senior Director of Ancillary Services, but will be responsible for the coordination and supervision of the housekeeping, cleaning, sanitation, and laundry services for over 100 seniors living with dementia. The Retreat is a dementia-capable organization that believes the environment is a key component of our healing and caring programs. This position assists in the hiring, supervision, training, compliance, and hands-on activities in the housekeeping and laundry departments. The successful applicant should have experience in a supervisor's role, good communication skills, and believe strongly in customer service. The candidate we are seeking has experience in housekeeping services or environmental services, enjoys working and training other employees, leads by example, and can be a good role model to others. This is an excellent entry into healthcare leadership roles. Bilingual capabilities is a plus. Must be able to successfully pass drug screens and background checks required by healthcare licensing.
