Rocky Mountain Adventure Camp is looking for 3 OUTSTANDING FEMALE COUNSELORS for the month of July! This is an outdoor adventure camp for teens from military families. Counselors will work as part of a team facilitating an awesome outdoor adventure for our campers, including hiking, ropes course, team building, rafting, and other activities in the mountains. The job is temporary and Counselors need to be available for staff training and all three camps. Camps are held at the CSU Mountain Campus in the Poudre Canyon. Counselors need to love being in the mountains with teenagers! They also need to be committed to our campers and facilitating an excellent outdoor experience for them. Counselors must be at least 20 years old, have some outdoor experience, have experience facilitating team building activities, be outgoing and fun, willing to get up early and go to bed late, willing to be part of a team, engaging, communicate well, be able to hike 6-14 miles, be focused on the campers and the good of the team, and be willing to give it your all each day! Counselors need to be in good health as this job requires a lot of physical activity. Counselors must pass a background check, and must be CPR/1st certified or get certified before camp. Counselors must be able to attend staff training and all three camps. Dates are: Staff Training - June 30 - July 1 (9:00-5:30) Camps: July 5-8, July 12-15, July 26-29 Benefits include: Transportation to and from the Mountain Campus plus room and board Monday through Thursday for each camp. Staff swag will also be provided for each Counselor!
