Looking to hire one person for part time help 30-35 hours and with the potential for the job to grow to full time after a few weeks. I have a small but growing landscaping company with about 80 customers. Currently it is just me and I am in need of a reliable employee. That being said there is plenty of room for growth in the company as we expand. I am looking for someone with previous landscaping experience and who has a clean driving record. You would start off working with me( crew leader) and after being trained and getting on the job experience you would be expected to be able to work by yourself. Eventually you will oversee someone who as a crew leader. The average day involves mowing, weed whacking and blowing 10-20 townhomes in the Baltimore area with occasional landscaping jobs like mulching, weeding, leaf removal. Starting pay is $16.00 -$18.00 depending on experience. Tips are pretty good. If you work by yourself you keep tips otherwise you split them with whoever you work with. Work day starts at 7:45 and ends between 2pm and 5 pm depending on the amount of work. Work between Monday and Friday. Expectations: -Arrive on time -Pay attention to details -Work with a sense of urgency -Not on your phone at the job -Able to work outside in the hot and humid summer for long periods. -Have a smartphone -Able to lift fifty pounds -Willing to get hands dirty -Reliable transportation or live within five minutes of the giant in arbutus -Can take directions and follow instructions -positive attitude -professional: no profanity on the job, friendly to customers Bonuses: -Care about the environment ( I have an a environmentally friendly company) -Live next to Giant in arbutus which is next to me. -Have your own truck -Good social skills -Ideally you would begin working as early as Monday May 10th.
