Extremely busy and growing local restoration company is seeking full-time service technicians to perform all aspects of Water/Fire Damage Restoration in both residential and commercial properties. While experience is not mandatory and we are willing to train the right candidate: priority and preference will be given to individuals with industry experience. We offer competitive pay, performance-based bonuses and raises. THIS IS A FULLTIME, PERMANENT POSITION. BTTR/HAM Inc is a locally owned and operated, family-oriented restoration company providing emergency response and solutions for both residential and commercial properties. There are a number of other restoration companies out there. Responsibilities and Duties: • Perform mitigation and restoration services including demolition, cleaning, extraction, restorative drying, fire and smoke damage cleaning and deodorization, content cleaning, pack out and storage. • Be a responsible, accountable full-time employee with a team mentality and "can-do" attitude. • Courteous and professional interactions with homeowners, property managers and others while on job sites. • Ensures proper set-up and monitoring of equipment used to address the client’s restoration needs. Upon completion of jobs, picks up, cleans and returns equipment to the shop in a timely fashion. • Takes appropriate steps to protect the customer’s property from further damage including, but not limited to, use of protective shoe covers and floor mats, containment of areas to prevent the spread of dust and other materials, safe removal of furnishings, flooring, walls, etc. • Proactively communicates any issues or problems that arise or may affect the completion of the job to the Project Manager. • Clean and maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and facilities. • Ensure health and safety procedures are strictly followed, including (but not limited to) safe lifting and personal protective equipment. • Attend ongoing training and education development programs whenever available. • Provide after-hours emergency support as part of an on-call emergency service. Qualifications and Skills: Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred Construction and/or demolition experience IICRC certifications preferred (**Candidates with IICRC certification will be given priority consideration) Valid drivers license Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (crawls spaces, attics) Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary Extremely competitive and based on experience, OVERTIME Benefits after 90 days
