- Assigned to train general cleaners in accordance with the assigned checklist.
- Responsible for the overall cleanliness, sanitation, and security of the assigned buildings.
- Responsible for successfully coordinating and monitoring all work activities of janitorial personnel in their assigned buildings.
- Responsible for the correct completion of all tasks according to the checklists.
- Daily onsite inspections in accordance with the assigned checklists. Address deficiencies with staff.
- Be a team player and assists where necessary
- Investigate complaints regarding janitorial services and make corrective action recommendations to the Director Of Operations (DOO)
- Secure and assure that all equipment is maintained and in working order- Report missing and/or broken equipment to higher management.
- Take and report Inventory of building janitorial supplies on a weekly basis.
- Act as liaison between building occupants or administrators and janitors.
- Effectively communicate with directors, supervisors, building occupants, and janitorial staff.
- Responsible for compliance to the uniform policy in the Employee Handbook
- Distribute tickets for uniform infractions.
- Trains workers in janitorial methods, procedures, and proper operation of equipment as needed.
- Cross train personnel for multiple positions/duties as needed.
- Be able to read and understand chemical usage, dilute chemicals and demonstrate for staff the correct dilution process.
- Provide weekly staff reports, inspections and uniform infractions to DOO - this includes reporting of all issues, recommendations, and task documents.
- Meet with DOO weekly to review task completion and future projects.
- Be able to create and foster a working environment where safety is always a priority.
