This position interacts daily with the Operations Lead, management, body shop and other vendors. What are the day-to-day responsibilities? Manage reconditioning crew, help with final detail/make ready Receive vehicles as they come in and check for any damage Inspect vehicles for any cosmetic or mechanical issues Quality control/final check of vehicles that have been made ready Pick up vehicles from and deliver vehicles to service facility. Minor mechanical work like changing bulbs, tail lights and mirrors etc. What are the job requirements? Some supervisory/management experience Very detail oriented High School/Tech School Diploma or GED 2+ years' experience in an automotive detailing/repair environment Clean driving record Must be able to pass back ground check, drug test and driving a manual transmission Attention to detail is of utmost importance for this job Preferences: For you to be an exceptional listener and communicator Previous experience as a porter, recondition & detailing Previous mechanic helper or body shop/painter helper experience An old school work ethic - this isn't a 9-5 kind of job Willing to learn and open to new ideas A self-starter Well organized and works well under pressure goal oriented Bi-lingual (not required) We are looking to hire as soon as possible……. Starting salary is dependent on your experience; our base starting hourly wages for this job is $14 to $16/hr or higher with a review in 90 days. If you have the right experience salary will be higher (depending of experience). Work week is Monday thru Saturday (43 hours) so you make overtime every week. We do reviews often and adjust salaries based on job performance We are in west/southwest Houston currently near Highway 6 & Beechnut.
