I love this bird. As all parrot owners know, amazon birds have a morning screech and dusk screech. Im use to it but the rest of my house dwellers are not. I got him from a couple with an unsuitable cage. The cage is now in is huge and designed to let him stay in it and be able to stretch and flap his wings. I have him out when Im home. Hes tame, goes for truck rides and talks. Hes probably better in a one bird home but having one on one time is good for him. I do NOT buy store bought parrot food. He eats what we eat including nuts seeds, veggies, fruits and meat. As u can see he is sparse in feathers in areas due to poor diet in the previous home. They were good people but didnt know that store bought parrot food was insuficient. Hes much better now and filling in. His new cage has a new swing and lots of toys. Our african grey knows how to activate Alexa so they enjoy Queen's •We will rock u and Def lepperd when we are gone. Hes picked up a lot of words and habits from the gray. He bathes when we vaccuum. No potty words. He and his cage which is big enough for u to climb in and is dividable is $1450. These cages are $3k brand new. I can deliver it and reset it up as well. Its pretty heavy and sturdy and NOT on wheels I was told he is a male and is 12, He wasnt very tame but now he lets me scratch his head, pick him up, ride on my shoulder, sometimes play catch with me and snuggle because he sees our 20 year old amazon do it
