Satchel is 6 weeks old, born March 27th. Satchel is an alpine buckling from a herd of disease free dairy does, his Dam received CDT and Selenium before delivery and he is in excellent health. Satchel had some trouble nursing and bottle feeding at first so he spent the second week of his life inside. He is extremely friendly and cuddly. Satchel requires extra care for feeding and is looking for a human companion who wants to be his friend for life. He has lived with dogs, cats, chickens, and children so he is very well rounded! I am taking applications for Satchel's new home because he is very dear to me and I want to find the right match. Certain requests will be made concerning him being wethered at a particular age. Satchel has horns and needs a home that knows how to properly manage this. He must also have a home that either has another goat/ other suitable companion or is open to adopting a second wether. He is expected to grow up to 120-140lbs and most wethered alpines will live up to 15 years so you must be committed to properly housing and caring for him for life!
