About the company: Liquid and Grit provides information and recommendations to mobile gaming companies. We break down games, features, and content in top grossing games and provide valuable information in monthly reports. We also offer consulting, which is where your work would primarily be focused. About the role: Your responsibility will be to help craft the sentences and make sure the report is 100% error free. About you: You are an editing ninja. You, for whatever reason, can find the little mistakes in anything. You are ok proofing, reading, and rereading the same thing over again until you’re super confident it is perfect. You have a strong memory that allows you to make sure small details are consistent throughout an entire report. You can rearrange words into the most logical structure. You have the ability to take editing a step further, like adding up a row of percentage to make sure it equals 100%. You know how to work in Google Documents and understand how you might work in other online tools, like Keynote. Requirements: No prior experience necessary—we often find that people without experience do very well Access to a computer and internet Ability to work in google documents. General information: This is a contract position and start with less hours but ramp up (likely start 8-15 hours per week). This role is a contract role that will be done remotely—meaning you can work wherever you want—but it will be ongoing, consistent work. Hiring process: At Liquid and Grit, we hire using tests only so that we ensure—as best we can—that we hire on pure abilities (we often do not interview). This is the first test. There are usually three to four additional tests and the process takes less than two weeks. After the tests, we will hire 2-3 people to start working on actual projects to see how you do on our team.
