Ivy Tree Service is Hiring 1 more Team member for a 3-man Crew. A good candidate Must: Have a valid Drivers license Be at least 18 yrs old Have a good attitude and ability to work as a team. Be able to work alone if needed Be Sober / Pass a drug test Be able and willing to drive a truck and chipper every day if needed. Be physically able to work 8 hours per day in Extreme weather and Extreme heat conditions. (Arizona Sun / Monsoons) Preferred Candidate Skills: Ability to operate a Chainsaw without hitting rocks or bending the bar Knowledge of Knots (Minimum: Bowline, Clove Hitch, Alpine Butterfly, Girth hitch) Knowledge of Rigging Ability to Operate Brush/wood Chipper safely. (Vermeer BC1000XL) Knowledge of Common Plant/Tree Pests Knowledge of Tree Identification Accredited Certifications SCHEDULE AND PAY: Weekly Pay every Friday We try not to work longer than 8 hours in the summer. NO 12-HOUR DAYS Employees option to be paid 1099 or W-2 employee with Direct deposit available. Paid Overtime if available **Paid for 100% drive time to and from jobs. You are paid from the time you are scheduled to start to the time you get in your vehicle and drive away. Optional extra hours to maintain equipment, organize tools etc. Starting Pay Range: $15.00-$18.00 per hour *Plenty of opportunity to grow and learn. The last person to hold this position left the company after 3 years and earned $23.00 per hour plus bonuses! Owner is an ISA certified Arborist and works with Team every day. Looking for reliable, responsible people to eventually take the truck and Complete Work Orders without the Owner present. *Climbers are always wanted but are so hard to find that the Owner does all of the climbing himself.
