"Athena" is a Great Pyrenees mix (Lab?). We took her in from a family member who lost his job and home. We didn't want her to go to a shelter. We told him we would try to find a home for her. She is almost a year old. We introduced her to another dog and it did not go well. However, she used to live with another dog and they got along very well. I think she would be happiest on a property with lots of land. Our kids are 3 & 6 and she does well with them. She definitely has a desire to herd and protect. She'll let you know if something isn't to her liking with a big time bark. We will take as long as we need to until we find the right home for her. She will never go to a shelter while with us and we'll keep her as long as we need to. We have all her records and she is chipped. I'll try and answer any questions to the best of my ability. I'm not looking for any money but, I will be very picky about where she goes.
