LANDSCAPE FOREMAN: Hanlon Landscapes services Cape Cod and Southeastern MA. This family-owned company currently seeks skilled full-time laborers to join our landscape maintenance and construction teams and to start immediately. Both foreman and laborer positions are available. Individuals applying for either position must have a high level of self-motivation, be detail-oriented, and take pride in his/her work. Our company desires individuals who possess horticultural or strong plant knowledge background if possible. Pay starts at $18 to 25 per hour depending on experience. Two years of experience for Foreman position are required, with more years of experience being preferred. FOREMAN: -Will be responsible for leading three to four maintenance crew members in all aspects of landscape maintenance or construction. -This individual will be responsible for managing a crew to achieve all deadlines, safety standards, and company policies that Hanlon Landscapes seek to provide. -Will include weekly lawn mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, installation of lawns, mulch and maintain outdoor living spaces, etc. -Must be able to operate commercial mowers, trimmers, backpack blowers & power tools. -A valid drivers license is REQUIRED. -Hoisting License or Pesticide Applicator License/Certification are both preferred. -Must be timely, polite, and efficient in response to both client’s and management’s needs. -Responsible for the safety, care, and proper utilization of all company assets. Candidates must have the ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position. These include: -Stand and walk throughout a minimum 8-hour shift. - Lift and move heavy items, 50 lbs minimum. - Regularly bend, lift, stretch, twist and reach below the waist and above the head. - Climb in and out of trucks, equipment, and trailers numerous times per day. - Work in all weather conditions and seasons. In addition we ask that all candidates have the following: - A valid driver's license with a clean driving record - A good attendance record with previous employers - Ability to operate machinery - Ability to meet production goals - Good written and verbal communication skills - Reliable transportation to work - Pass a drug test and background check.
