A growing emergency property damage restoration company specializing in water, fire/smoke and mold remediation has an opening for a Technician. Technician responsibilities include light demolition (tear out drywall, insulation, carpet, carpet pad), water extraction, and setting equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers, etc). This is an excellent opportunity to learn a new trade and be part of a growing local business. While IICRC certifications are a plus, they are not a requirement. You will be trained by professionals with up to 15 years in the business. Responsibilities: Be part of a disaster response team for emergency services from water damage, fire damage and mold remediation. We save the day for our customers Good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills Be reliable and dependable Be customer focused Take damage assessments, moisture readings Perform water extraction, remedial demolition and drying Clean smoke damage from affected structures and contents. Must be willing to work outside of "regular" business hours if necessary. Continue to improve technical knowledge and personal performance. Required: Pass background check with no felony charges; clean driving record required Show up to work on time, be pro-active in learning trade and work hard.
