Knickerbocker Country Club is looking for a Landscape Manager to improve and maintain the Clubhouse and Pro Shop grounds. This position is an excellent opportunity for a landscape professional to elevate the look and feel of the club's facilities. This position will be under the supervision of the golf course superintendent and will be responsible for the daily upkeep of all shrubs, flowers, and ornamentals. Daily, weekly, and monthly goals will be created to communicate the expectations and work responsibilities. The responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Ability to lift and carry 50lbs - Pruning, trimming, cutting, all clubhouse and pro shop ornamentals, trees, etc. - Weed removal, pre/postemergent weed applications - Ornamental shrub removal and replacement - Order, plant, fertilize, and water flowers - Order and install mulch in beds - Daily removal of trash and litter from clubhouse grounds - Shape and prune hedges - Ability to use gas and electric powered tools - Some experience with residential irrigation operation and maintenance (can be taught) - Make recommendations for continual improvements of grounds While you will report to the superintendent, the ideal candidate is self motivated and can hold themselves accountable for their job performance.
