ADVA Construction/Design seeks an experienced Carpenter, Maintenance Technician to join its team of Building professionals community in Middleton, MA. This role requires effective and careful evaluation in response to a broad range of carpentry and maintenance needs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following areas of routine Basic Carpentry Interior trim work Exterior trim work Deckbuilding Window replacement Lite siding work Painting and Drywall Repair Kitchen and bathroom cabinet installation Requirements of the Position: Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal; Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter; Excellent customer service skills a must. Prior experience in the carpentry and items listed above; Reliable vehicle needed to perform essential duties of the position. Basic tools to perform tasks listed above but ADVA Construction/Design is willing to invest in building up required tools and trailer for storage and transportation Education and Experience: Requires High School Diploma or GED, as well as a valid driver’s license. Prior experience in carpentry with a minimum of 3 year’s related job experience with basic carpentry Compensation and Benefits: ADVA Construction/Design offers competitive hourly pay. We are looking to fill this position with someone willing to start part-time and grow into a full-time position if desired. This person is starting as a key player at the ground level and this position will provide as many growth opportunities as desired. Growth will include moving into a supervisor's role and hiring and training other employees to assit you in this role. Eventually, the tool belt will be hung up and you will move into a project management role. Profit-sharing and ownership shares and company vehicles are all available as this position grows.
