Building on the tenets of the Reservoir Hill Association, this year’s Juneteenth celebration will engage neighbors, harness hope, and foster innovative and inclusive exchanges. Juneteenth is designed to support the healing journey of neighbors and families as we commemorate the end of slavery, reflect on the current state of Black America, and envision future freedoms. The community will be exposed to resources including financial literacy education, cultural arts, and traditional and alternative therapy practitioners. Additionally, residents will have the opportunity to exchange stories of strength and resilience through poetry, live performances, and facilitated workshops.
