Please join the DeSoto Parks and Recreation Dept., and the DeSoto Police Citizen Academy Alumni Assoc. in celebrating Older Americans Month. Drive-Thru and pick up valuable resource packets from the comfort and safety of your vehicle! This year’s event will be a social distancing event with participants attending the entire fair in their vehicles held in the parking lot at Grimes Park. There will be several local vendors, a raffle ticket prize presentation, and free lunch! This is a free senior community event, designed to encourage a healthy lifestyle, and connect you to valuable resources. We will have raffle prizes, community health partners, health information, education and more! To ensure the community's health and safety, all vendors will be spaced apart and are required to wear facial coverings. All materials will be pre-packaged for quick and safe distribution.
