Teaching with Purpose in Lake County, California A well managed, academically rigorous classroom is the foundation for effective teaching and learning. It takes a good deal of effort to create and maintain such a classroom, and the person who is most responsible for creating it is you. You will learn to apply trauma and poverty-informed practices, rooted in Lake County statistics and needs, to build and maintain effective classroom structures. You will integrate academic, behavioral, and social emotional supports for engaging students in well-managed classrooms.
