PRIMARY FUNCTION: We are searching for skilled personnel who will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and installation of commercial piping projects. Additionally, they help to maintain a clean, safe, working together environment. PRIMARY DUTIES: · Installs CPVC, PVC, cast iron, copper, PEX and piping hangers · Solders copper, pro-press and solvent weld fittings · Excavator and Skidsteer equipment experience is a plus · Shadows a Journeyman, Foreman, General Superintendent to continue understanding and learning the trade · Maintains a clean and safe working environment · Has a good understanding on how to operate the tools in a safe and efficient manner · Maintains constant communication with the Journeyman, Foreman and Superintendent QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: · High School Diploma or GED · Valid driver’s license · Apprentice: 1-year experience, Journeyman/Foreman: 4+ years experience · Must be a good communicator, verbal and written · Must be self-motivated, hardworking and reliable · Must have general knowledge of plumbing systems and the desire to advance · Must be able to pass background check, physical and drug screen · Able to work in fast paced environments and accomplish tasks in timely manner · Ability to regularly lift 25 pounds · Work well in a team environment · Plumbing tools required Job Type: Full-time
