Description

Rehoming my Argyle Terrier. Don't feel bad if you haven't heard of the breed. They are a Westie Beagle mix from the 1800s in Scotland,. America didn't certify them until 1990. Enough history. This little guy (about 20 lbs) is a gift from heaven. He loves to cuddle and sleeps with me very night. He's also a good watch dog and will bark at strangers. He's smart as a whip and will follow your directions. Not sit, stay or rollover but stop, come here and mellow out. He asks to go out by licking your hand. Just show him where to go. He can be standoffish with strangers. The secret is to have the person give him a snack of human food and he'll be your friend for life. He's good with cats and other dogs, he's just slow to trust (snacks and he's in). He's a rescue from a rescue. The lady I got him from rescued him but her husband passed so I rescued him a year ago So now it's your turn to rescue him. If I could I'd never let him go but life has other plans so I need to find him the new loves of his life Rehoming is $50 just to show some investment in him. You get a full size collapse able wire crate. Leash and harness, a couple of metal bowls for water and food, and the rest of the bag of his dog food plus a couple of nice blankets. Email me at cl if your interested and you can come meet him (he's a real sucker for cheese or bologna). He's not overweight and he is active but he can adapt to any lifestyle. I've been a pandemic couch potatoe and he hangs right with me. You'd be lucky to get him,. He'll love you until you cry uncle.
