Enjoy a day of golf and other fun events, away from the valley heat, in the fresh mountain air at the Apple Mountain Golf Resort in Camino! 4 Person Scramble $100.00 (plus Eventbrite fees) per person includes: ParkingGreen FeesGolf CartWarm Up BallsScorekeeping, and aBBQ lunchPrizes will be awarded to the top two scores; the longest drive; and the best putt! ALL FOR A GREAT CAUSE - THE KIDS! This event is being held to raise funds to build the first public playground in Pollock Pines. The Community Economic Development Association of Pollock Pines (CEDAPP) is the non-profit that is partnering with community volunteers to "git er done" and your participation in this day of golf will bring this dream another step closer to fruition! The playground will be located at Forebay Park in Pollock Pines, on land provided by the county, however the funding must be raised by the community through efforts such as this. It will also be the first "all inclusive" playground in the county which will provide a place for all children, regardless of their physical, mental and/or emotional abilities, to interact with each other the way children are meant too, in a safe and fun environment. The structures will be built in compliance with ASTM standards, Consumer Product Safety Commission guidelines, and the ADA Act Accessibility Guidelines. Your participation in this event will be tax deductible.
