Responsibilities Drive a transit bus and transport passengers safely, timely and efficiently Greet passengers, accept fare payment, and maintain a safe environment Properly report all incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns Other duties as required to ensure a safe and courteous ride for our passengers Qualifications A valid Commerical Drivers’ License Class B with Passenger and Airbrake endorsement in good standing required Be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent Possess excellent customer service and communication skills Punctual with an emphasis on attendancePre-Employment Requirements: Must be able to maintain a DOT medical card. Must submit to drug testing and a criminal background check. Physical Requirements Include Ability to: Physical Requirements Include Ability to: Sit for extended periods of time. Lift, push, pull, and carry tools, objects, or equipment above shoulder level without assistance. Move up and down stairs easily. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
