Description

Join us for a fun day of golf and gathering for a great cause! Proceeds will benefit Noank Community Support Services. You're invited to join us at the beautiful Lake of Isles golf club and resort on Thursday, October 21st, 2021for our first annual "Hole-in-One for Homeless Youth" Social and Golf outing. We have a fun day planned that will include golf (for those interested in playing) and networking with a luncheon complete with live music and cocktails. Why attend: Connect with fellow community members and support life-changing services provided by NCSS. By attending you will help us provide vital personalized care and a place for our community's most vulnerable youth to call home. Timing/Details: Golfers should arrive by 9:00 AM for a 9:30 AM shotgun start. For those attending the luncheon only (social ticket), please plan to arrive by 12:00 NOON. We will conclude our event at 4:00 PM. We will be playing a scramble style tournament. Each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots then is selected, and all players play their second shot from that spot. The process is repeated until the ball is holed, which allows for all levels of golfing abilities to have fun. About the Course: Lake of Isles, a 36-hole Rees Jones-designed golf club located in North Stonington, Connecticut, opened in May 2005. Owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and located across the street from Foxwoods Resort Casino, the two courses wind their way through 900 acres of wooded Connecticut countryside and around a 90-acre lake. In addition to superior service and impeccable course conditions, amenities include a 50,000 sq. ft. clubhouse, a state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor practice facility. Sponsorship Opportunities: We have exciting opportunities for our sponsors. Please contact Jennifer Richey, Director of Development and Marketing, to learn more. Email [email protected] or call 860-333-6389 for details. Safety Protocols: At this time, Lake of Isles is permitting 50% capacity indoors. We will be taking precaution and following CDC guidelines in an effort to continue to protect us from Covid-19. Hand sanitizer, masks and outdoor dining will be available to all guests.
