Press release from the Lynnfield Public Library: May 5, 2021 Thank you to everyone who has come by to browse the library in the past month! It has been lovely to see all of your faces again. In May we will be reopening the library further. Starting today, you are welcome to come to the library during browsing hours without an appointment! We have also added more appointments for the Children's Room. The new schedule is below: General Browsing, Holds Pickup, & Computer Appointments Monday 10-1 and 2-7 Tuesday 10-1 Wednesday 10-1 and 2-5 Thursday 10-1 and 2-7 Friday 10-1 and 2-5 Saturday 2-5 (beginning May 15) You do not need an appointment to browse the library or pick up your holds during these times. You need an appointment to use the computers. Children's Room Browsing Appointments Monday 2-4:45 Tuesday 10-12:45 Wednesday 10-12:45 and 2-4:45 Thursday 2-4:45 Friday 2-4:45 You need an appointment to browse the Children's Room. Front Door Service Tuesday 2-7 Saturday 10-1 Beginning next week, we will no longer have Front Door Service on Thursday mornings, but you may pick up your holds during browsing hours. In June we will no longer have Front Door Service on Saturdays and will instead offer browsing. We had more than 3,000 visits in April. Can we beat that in May?
