CBS New York May 7, 2021 A Missouri nurse who just moved to New York City for a new job says she was assaulted by a stranger near Penn Station. The incident sent her packing for home. Taylor Dowling arrived from St. Louis two days ago ready to start her dream of living in the Big Apple. The 25-year-old and her parents were walking back to their hotel from dinner at around 7 p.m. on Wednesday when Dowling says she was randomly punched in the head near 34th Street and Ninth Avenue. She told CBS2's Natalie Duddridge on Thursday she is still in shock.
