We learn about plants and their horticultural requirements And, if you work hard, have a good work ethic, work smart (offer suggestions and show you are thinking), work safe, very important, and are easy to get along with (also very important as we all like each other on our jobs, comradery is very important) If you have all of this, then the supervisor will start training you. He will show you how to operate an excavator at lunch, or tell you to stop digging a trench and teach you how to do the wiring assignments in the irrigation controller.
