Electrical contractor in Oakland looking for a part-time shop/warehouse person to handle material deliveries/inventory and to make deliveries to project locations. In this role, you will keep our shop/warehouse organized, help manage our inventory and materials, and participate in outfitting our truck stock. You will keep our shop & field service tools in order, keep our fittings & other job related materials stocked up, and manage the maintenance & repair of our fleet. You will handle recycling of fluorescent bulbs and cardboard. Due to the ongoing, busy nature of our business, keeping our shop tidy & organized is a challenging task, so it is absolutely essential that you are a highly organized & efficient person with a strong sense of order and workflow. +Oversee truck maintenance +Knowledge of electrical parts a must +Warehouse experience +Pick up materials and deliver to jobsites +Good attitude +Clean & presentable appearance +Ability to work well with others and/or independently as needed +Punctual and reliable +Have a clean DMV record This is a shop/warehouse/delivery job and is not a step towards a position as an Electrician. Benefits depend on how many hours worked per week and may not apply to part-time employee May become Full-Time for the right candidate.
