What the job entails: Process incoming shipments/tools/materials Break down pallets/shipments Organize and verify that shipments are correct and complete per packing slip Sort and inventory materials/tools on racks, shelves, or bins according to inventory procedures Perform quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products Safely operate forklifts, hand dollys, pallet jacks and various other warehouse equipment Continual organization and cleaning of the warehouse Utilize our tool tracking software to update tools, personnel, and jobsites Coordinate deliveries with Project Manager and Foreman for the jobsites Perform required administrative tasks; tool, material and various misc. requests Prepare and maintain all required reports, correspondence, tool logs and repair logs Process required paperwork, and communicate information to Warehouse Supervisor Maintain fleet vehicles; repairs, services, and cleanliness Maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment Work in a proper P.P.E. Performs other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor Physical Requirements/Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following: Valid California driver’s license Clean DMV report Forklift certification and experience-huge plus Must manage a subordinate driver Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance Walk, bend, climb stairs, climb a ladder Stand for extended periods of time Wear correct P.P.E.
