Pet Food Express is looking for a fast-paced and dependable Equipment Operator to support the Receiving and Distribution teams. With 60+ stores in California, our Equipment Operators are busy receiving products into the warehouse and accurately placing them in their designated locations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has a sense of urgency.   What you’ll do: Accurately count and enter quantities received into Warehouse Management System (WMS)  Radio Frequency (RF) device Properly sort products by SKU Match product ID to put away labels and apply labels Identify and report discrepancies Put away products in the designated put away locations Maintain a clean and safe work area Other duties as needed  What you’ll need: Strong organizational, attention to detail, and accuracy skills Verifiable forklift experience (will need to show certification) Proficiency in RF (Radio Frequency) Basic math skills are required, legible handwriting, and ability to see fine print on paper or small screen Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively while maintaining minimum productivity goals   Ability to safely operate forklift, reach truck, and/or pallet jack (PFE will train and certify) Ability to be a team player, but also work independently with minimal supervision Flexible availability and availability to work overtime as needed What you’ll love: Pay starting at $18.25/hour with opportunities for growth Managers who care about your development A generous employee discount Paid Time Off Health insurance, 401k match, profit sharing, and other great benefits—even pet insurance!   Pet Food Express is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against employees or applicants based on race, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristics protected by applicable law.
