Construction Laborer Positions are available!! Looking for people who want to work. These crews will depend on you. Please do not apply if you cannot commit to working full time. This is not a part time job. This work is outside all the time. If you do not want to work in the cold or heat do not apply. This is a long term position. This is not to fill in for a short time. We are looking for those who can work well with others. Compensation: We offer competitive wages based upon experience! Employment type: full-time Our company has a great opportunity available! We are currently looking for Construction Laborers in the Atlanta area. This position will consist primarily of laborer work including digging, pulling fiber optic cable into the conduit. This is a full-time position. Days include Monday through Friday unless there is bad weather day and we will work on Saturday. Overview: This position consists of general construction laborer/utility work which will including labor and shoveling. This position may also assist with any other miscellaneous related laborer duties as assigned by the crew foreman/supervisor. Responsibilities: Shoveling, digging, handling Fiber Optic Cable and operating basic construction equipment on site. Some heavy equipment operation and transportation (Driving equipment to, from & in between sites) General equipment maintenance as needed Qualifications: Must be minimum of 25 years old to drive company vehicles/operate company equipment Valid Driver's License Underground Utility Construction experience preferred but not required Must be able to effectively communicate with your team and management. Maintain a positive attitude with team. Maintain good public relations (interact with the public in a courteous manner) Must have reliable transportation to and from work Basic ability to use small tools/hand tools 6 months or more previous industry experience preferred but not required Must have strong physical endurance for hot weather conditions, adverse weather conditions, repetitive bending, stooping, lifting, transferring equipment and materials up to 75 pounds. Applicants are required to pass all company drug testing, submit to a background check and adhere to all OSHA, state, city/municipality safety requirements and training provided by the company as required.
