Lifeguarding Instructor/Trainer Review
This in-person Instructor review course is the required course for all Lifeguarding Instructors to re-certify. During this course, Lifeguarding Instructors and Instructor Trainers will participate in an in-water practice and polish skills session in addition to a classroom-based review of Red Cross administrative policies and procedures. Lifeguarding Instructors may also choose to attend a brief "test out" session following this course to gain a basic-level Lifeguarding certification (additional fee of $50).

ZOOM Meeting to be scheduled in addition to the above time.
Cost: $250(non refundable)
Participants will be required to show proof of American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Certification. No refund of any sort will be provided if the participant does not show up for the course, complete the course or pass the course.
To be able to participate and pass the course: Participants must meet a variety of criteria to participate and pass the course successfully.
Must have a current Lifeguarding Instructor or Instructor Trainer certification
Must be able to attend all class time
Must pass multiple-choice written exam with 80% or better
Must demonstrate instructor level proficiency with lifeguard skills
All participants must bring a hip pack, adult and pediatric resuscitation mask, non-latex gloves, and whistle. If the participant does not have one, a kit may be purchased for an additional cost. Contact the SOEL Institute if a set is needed.
