This beautiful and seemingly young medium-size grey tabby cat gave birth to 3 kittens under a backyard shed in the 1500 block of 67th Ave about 6-7 weeks ago. She’s been getting fed by the residents. Everyone has thought she’s feral. But after I trapped her last night, I lifted the sheet over the trap and she was right there, 1ft from my face, looking at me and the room with curiosity and caution but no fear. Acting like a scared lost pet, not a feral. She’s now in the Berkeley shelter getting microchipped (if not already), fixed, and vaccinated, and will be back in the back yard Sat night 5/8. Her 2 trapped kittens are being fostered; the 3rd is still loose in the back yard and we hope to trap it shortly. If this is your cat, please let me know.
