I have a simple home-built catio that's about 4' x 6'. It's not beautiful, but it worked beautifully and the cat was really happy. It has 3 walls and a roof. The walls are wire on wood studs. It's meant to be pushed up against a house so that the cat can climb in through a window or a door. And there's an exit door for humans. The attached photo isn't great. There's some plywood resting against the enclosure in several places, and a few bricks. There's also a ramp inside for the cat that can be removed. The cat and its human servant moved away, and the landlord says the new tenants don't need it. If you're interest, call right away.
