Position: Maintenance personnel Company: Golden View LLC Job Location(s): Milwaukee, WI Start Date: Immediately Employment Term: Regular Employment Type: Part Time Hours per Week: 20-24 Work Hours (i.e. shift): 1st Shift Starting Salary Range: Not Provided Required Education: High School or Equivalent Required Experience: 1 to 20+ years Required Security Clearance: None Related Categories: Maintenance-Facilities-Facility Maintenance Position Description: Golden View and Silver View has an immediate opening for a part-time (less than 32 hrs/week) experienced maintenance professional for a 33 bed and a 23 bed assisted living facility in Milwaukee. Grounds maintenance/snow removal. Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, equipment repair/maintenance, painting plus. On-call emergency response. Dependable, safety conscious. Must have own tools. Essential Responsibilities: • System supervision, air, heating, well, water softener, water heater, electrical, plumbing, smoke alarms, door alarms • Perform routine building repair and maintenance (gutters, downspouts, heat, air ducts, windows, etc.) • Testing of facility systems, including fire alarms, smoke detectors, exit door alarms, emergency and exit lighting. • Replaces light bulbs as needed • All equipment repair and maintenance (small appliances) if able • Grounds maintenance (snow removal, grass cutting, trees, shrubs) • Pest control • Painting as required • Plumbing repairs, pipes, toilets etc. • Install floor tiles, baseboard, wall or window coverings and ceiling tiles • Responds to calls/emergencies as needed-may be on weekends • Does maintenance as listed on maintenance schedule and as required by State regulations • Keep areas clean, uncluttered (storage areas) • Miscellaneous duties as assigned to provide safe, appealing environment Job Qualifications: • Must have the physical and emotional capacity as well as the education and experience to respond to the physical needs of the facility • Must be 21 year of age or older • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent • Must have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license • Must have at least one year experience
