The Operations Team Member needs to be comfortable handling dead pets while working with respect and dignity in a crematory setting. This individual will use their knowledge and tools to develop the commercially successful design for the paw print creations and engraving needs. The position requires working in a team setting to fulfill the aftercare needs of pet parents. Core Competencies Quality Orientation and Attention to Detail Time Management Problem Solving Accountability and Dependability Decision making and Judgment Operating Equipment Ethics and Integrity Communication Team Work Safety Job Duties: Position raw materials on processing or production equipment Shape clay to create products Operate engraving machines for product personalization Smooth surfaces of finished pieces using a variety of tools Examine finished ware for defects and ensure that it meets the company’s standards Operate drying chambers to dry or finish molded pieces Monitor equipment operation to ensure proper functioning Help to maintain supplies of tools, equipment, materials as needed, may be required to order them Use of Paws-e-Track software to maintain accurate accounts of all orders Verify accuracy of shapes and sizes of all prints and ensure they meet the high-quality standards of the company Clean up work area on a daily basis Drive company vans to transport to and from various destinations Notify Manager of vehicle problems Be able to lift 50 lbs, more with assistance Package cremains and memorial items Communicate with clinics and pet parents to ensure accuracy Communicate with other team members Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Minimum of high school diploma, however a college diploma is a large asset Solid design and conceptual skills Effective written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to accept and integrate constructive feedback from superiors. Effective deadline management and project management skills. Ability to be creative and think outside the box Able to identify priorities and act accordingly Role requires applicant to have a valid drivers license, and ability to drive if/when needed.
