We are an exciting new shopping & delivery startup that recently launched in Miami! We're looking for reliable shopping and delivery personnel who are concerned with customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe, timely manner. As part of our shopping team, you will shop for order items, prepare the order box, and drop off the order boxes to locations around Miami Beach. You should be willing to work as part of the shopping & delivery team in order to ensure that the items are complete, boxed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client location. We want you to help us shape this role together - if you have prior shopping experience and knowledge of best-practices, we want to hear them to help make us better! To succeed in this role, you should be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our clients with an excellent experience. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, committed to work safety, and passionate about satisfying clients. Delivery Driver Responsibilities: - Field new incoming orders, shopping for order items, boxing, transporting, and delivering items to clients in a safe, timely manner. - Maintain a flexible availability schedule that allows you to accept incoming orders for same-day delivery or with 2-5 days lead time (not all our customers need same-day delivery). - Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied. - Loading and unloading order boxes from vehicle. - Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record. Delivery Driver Requirements: - Valid driver's license issued by the state of Florida. - A functioning, registered vehicle. - Vehicle insurance, in accordance with local laws. - A smartphone with Android 5.0 or later, iOS 9 or later. - Prior experience (Instacart, DoorDash, etc) is great but not required. - High school diploma or equivalent. - Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws. - Strong time management and customer service skills. - Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry items of 40+ pounds. - Attention to detail! *Our delivery locations are located on South Beach, so we're looking for someone who lives in, or close to, SOBE.
